Hey, welcome to my blog! My name is Aurni Ahmed, and I am a second-year college student at Northeastern University! About 2.5 years ago, in my senior year of high school, I created this website as an opportunity to create a safe space for people. I guess I would call this blog my virtual diary. It has been a while since I last posted here, and I can confirm that there have been so many life changes. I plan to start writing again soon when I figure out the next journey for this blog, but in the meantime, I hope you guys enjoy what’s been written so far. Now, you might wonder, “What is the point of this blog?” “why is this site called Serendipity of Beauty?” It’s because as people are introduced to life’s brutal encounters, they tend to forget why certain misfortunes happen. Serendipity means something happening by chance or luck. I’d like to call it a “happy accident.”
At first, while thinking of a name for my blog, I struggled a lot with trying to create a title that could really show that there’s beauty in everything. Literally everything. Not just the pretty things. I was determined to show people that life’s misfortunes are all beautiful. It’s a sense that whatever trouble or good is thrown at us, it is all for a reason. I wanted the world to see the world in an optimistic yet truthful way. That’s until I found exactly what I hoped for.

The serendipity of beauty means trying to find dignity in situations we don’t have control over and finding happiness in times of darkness. Many of my posts will be small and simple. Some I’d like to explain more if there’s a difficulty to it. So now that you’re done reading this long clip of my mind, I hope you feel welcomed and interested in joining me in this journey of finding the serendipity of beauty.
